Per Joe Cochoit's armory, citing The Genealogist, vol. 9, No. 1 (Spring 1988) , noting that these were the arms of Sir Humphrey de Beauchamp of Ryme (d. c1317), younger son of Robert de Beauchamp of Hatch.

Vair, a label or

Vair = alternating blue-and-white bell shapes, representing squirrel fur
a label = a horizontal line (generally with three downward prongs) near the top of the shield, used to indicate a younger son.
