Research Notes

  • I removed the original birthdate listed on the profile of July 30, 1716 because I couldn't find a supporting source. I found multiple sources that supported 1707.
  • I could not find marriage source on ancestry.com or in Massachusetts Vital records, or on Familysearch.org for marriage to Stephen Blanchard. His birthdate is listed as 1730 which would have been a 23 year age difference with Tabitha being the elder. Could be connected in error.
  • Found the marriage and the children below in Massachusetts Vital Records
Nathaniel, and Dorcas Hibbert, Oct. 22, 1695.
Children of Nathaniel and Dorcas Abbott found:
  1. Nathaneal, s. Nathanael and Dorcas, June 9, 1700
