Emaline Cecilia ABBOTT WAS born about 15 April 1830 in Busti, Chautauqua County, New York and died on 20 March 1885 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan ^[1] Her death record records her father's name as Harvy or Harry ABBOTT who was listed as residing in Warren, Pennsylvania, ^[1] but she has been linked by researchers as being the daughter of Henry ABBOTT and Louisa BOSTWICK. Since Harry is often used as a nickname for Henry it is entirely possible that the two individuals mentioned for her father could be the same individual.

Note: Warren County, Pennsylvania is right on the border between Pennsylvania and New York. Chautauqua County, New York is just across the state line.
