Biography

Euel Abbott was enumerated as head of the household at Lithonia and Klondike Road, Phillips, DeKalb County, Georgia for the February 11, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1901 in Georgia and married. He was a renter and a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Irene Abbott and daughter Violet Abbott.^[1]

Euel G Abbott was enumerated as head of the household at Smyrna Road, Klondike, Phillips, DeKalb County, Georgia for the April 4, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1900 in Georgia and married. He was first married at the age of nineteen. He was an owner and a stone cutter (quarry) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Irene Abbott, daughter Violet M Abbott, daughter Margaret H Abbott, son Evan A Abbott and son Euel G Abbott Jr.^[2]

On April 1, 1935, Ewell Abbott lived in rural DeKalb County, Georgia.^[3]

Ewell Abbott was enumerated as head of the household at Klondike Road, Klondike, Militia District 487, DeKalb County, Georgia for the April 10, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1900 in Georgia and married. He owned a home worth $1500 and was a farmer (agriculture) as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Irene Abbott, daughter Margaret Abbott, son Andrew Abbott, son Ewell Abbott, daughter Anna Abbott, daughter Shirley Abbott and daughter Vivian Abbott.^[3]
