Catherine (Abbott) Reade was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Catherine Abbott was born 21 April 1859 in Kent Town, South Australia. She was the daughter of William Henry Abbott and Mary Ann Teffry. ^[1]

She married William George Turner on 8 June 1882 at the residence of her father in Norwood, South Australia. ^[2]

Catherine (widow) married Thomas Charles Reade (widower) on 9 April 1907 at Christ Church, North Adelaide, South Australia. ^[3]

She passed away age 81 on 16 June 1940 in Prospect, South Australia ^[4] and was buried in North Road Cemetery. ^[5]
