Hannah was born about 1805 in Keynsham, Somerset [1] She was the daughter of William and Sarah Abbott and baptised at the age of 12 on 10 July 1816 in Keynsham. William was a labourer. [2]
Hannah Abbott and Thomas Collings Dolman married on 19 November 1837 in Bristol. Hannah's father was William Abbott and Thomas's father was Charles Dolman. Thomas, Charles and William Abbott were all labourers. [3]
In 1841 Thomas and Hannah were living with 2 children in the household of Hannah's mother, Sarah Abbott. A 10 year olf William Abbott also lived there. Thomas (Dolman) was an Agricultural labourer. [4] Thomas died aged 37 in 1849.
In 1851 Hannah was a widow and pauper living with 6 children in Keynsham. Her youngest child was aged 1.[1]
In 1861 Hannah was living with 2 children, Thomas and Sarah and had 2 boarders. She was a Needle Woman. [5]
In 1881 Hannah was now 76 years old and she lived in an Alms House in Keynsham. [6]
Hannah lived a long life and died aged 81 in 1885. Her death was registered in Keynsham. [7] She had been widowed for 36 years.
