Biography

Annie Florence (Floss) Abbott was born 26 Feb 1889^[1][2] in Norwood, Surrey, England,^[3] to Emmanuel and Rosa Abbott. She was twin to Amy Gertrude.

In the 1891 England census, she was living with her family in Lambeth, Norwood, Surrey, and in the 1901 census in Maidstone, Kent.^[4][5]

In 1911, Annie Florence Abbott (22) was living in Watford, Hertfordshire. She was a dental surgery attendant.^[3]

Annie married Charles J. Goodbun in 1915 in Dover, Kent, England.^[6]

In the 1939 England register, Annie F Goodbun, born 26 Feb 1889, was living in Dover, Kent, with Charles Goodbun, and their children Elsie F Goodbun and Leslie J Goodbun.^[1]

Annie (Floss) and Charles lived in Guernsey, Channel Islands, along with her sister and husband. They were evacuated back to Britain during World War II. After the war, Floss returned to Dover, and was living with her son.^[7]

She died 28 Feb 1971^[7] in Folkestone, Kent, England.^[8][2]
