Cherub Abell was born 3 November 1760 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut Colony to parents Simon Abell and Parnel Willes.[1][2]
"Mr. Cherub Abell and Miss Lydia Gager were Lawfully married April 18th 1782," in Norwich. Their son Alvin was born 20 January 1783, in Norwich.[3]
Their next children were born in Franklin, New London County; Lydia on 15 February 1791, and Simon on 4 April 1794.[4]
"Capt. Cherub Abell died 4 January 1830, AE 69," in Franklin.[5] He is buried there in
Gager Cemetery.[6]
