Biography
Samuel Abell was born in October 1672 in Norwich in the Colony of Connecticut. He is the son of Caleb Abell and Margaret Post .[1] [2]
Samuel married Elizabeth Sluman November 3, 1696, in Norwich.[3]
Elizabeth died on their 45th anniversary, November 3, 1741, in Norwich.[3]
Samuel Abell died November 26, 1761, in Norwich.[3]

Margaret Abell was born Feb. 27, 1700.
Samuel Abell was born Oct. 9, 1702.
Joshua Abell was born Nov. 23, 1706.

Probate
His will is dated 23 December 1757 and proved on 16 December 1761 in Norwich. He mentions his sons, Samuel, and Joshua, and his daughters, Elizabeth, Margaret, wife of Samuel Edgerton, and Sarah. His inventory was completed on 21 December 1761.[4]
