Susan E. Ackley was born, reportedly at Machiasport, Maine, 12 Apr 1820 (from age at death), the daughter of Amos A. Ackley and Deborah Pettigrew; ^[1] died of old age at Machiasport, 28 Dec 1897, aged 77y 8m 16d, ^[1] and is buried in the East Machias Village Cemetery. ^{[2] [3]}
