Sarah Ackley, (1661 - aft. 1715) married William Spencer (1652-1713), on unknown.
Children
William Spencer and Sarah Ackley had the following known children (recorded at East Haddam, Middlesex, Connecticut):
i. Mary Spencer, b. 1 Sep 1687; m. Capt. Jonathan Dunham, (b. ca. 1693, d. at Sharon, Connecticut, 28 Feb 1745 in 52d yr. (g.s.)).
ii. Alexander Spencer (eldest son), b. 16 Jul 1694; d. 1761. Married Ann?, b. Sep 17, 1698, had son Alexander, b. 1724.
iii. Sarah Spencer, b. 1 Mar 1696; living 1715, then unmarried.[2] Mentioned in fathers will probate, 1715.
iv. Hannah Spencer[3], b. 16 Jul 1698; m. By 1713, Samuel Chapman of Colchester[4], (b. by 1690, living at Sharon in 1760.) He m. (2) by 1733, Sarah Cahoon, b. at Warwick, Rhode Island, 14 Mar 1704/5.
v. William Jr., b. 3 Jun 1706; d. after 1749. Mentioned in fathers will probate, 1715.
Another child attributed to William and Sarah Spencer, "Margaret Elizabeth Spencer", b. ca. 1660 at Kent, Va. This has not been proven. No evidence that either William or Sarah had been in VA was found. Further this birth would have been before Sarah Ackley was born, and when William Spencer was 8 years of age...highly doubtful.
Death
Sarah Ackley Spencer died after November 1, 1715 at possibly Colchester, New London, Connecticut. Mentioned in husband's will, probated, 1715, at East Haddam, Middlesex, Connecticut.[5] Colechester and East Haddam are approximately 12 miles distant, but were in different counties.

I'm not a strong advocate to automatically posting profiles PPP. Too often this occurs seeminlgy with out sufficient research. It is too often a pain to merge two ppp profiles, when one is fully researched and the other is too often meaningless but marked ppp and not the oldest.
Far as I am concerned the ppp could be dropped until it is requested by the project managers
The person posting the PPP status should be identified as well as exactly which project the ppp belongs to and the date of marking. This could be easily identified in a posting or in the biography section of the profile.
Tom and Mike, is there a good reason to retain PPP? New rules introduced last year require a project be associated with and be co-managed by a project if a profile is PPP but perhaps PPP isn't needed here? What do you think?
Ackley-627 and Ackley-73 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles are the same with relatives, dob and places in common. After the Mother's profile was merged, most of the children became duplicates as well. Please merge these.
Ackley-140 and Ackley-73 appear to represent the same person because: Sarah was born about 1661 in East Haddam; married William about 1680 and died about 1711 in Colchester. Additional children are Alexander, Sarah and William.
