John Acton, the son of Samuel Acton and Elizabeth, was born on 11 August 1827 and baptised on 9 March 1828 in Grappenhall, Cheshire.[1]
He married Elizabeth Clayton on 29 December 1846 at Grappenhall, Cheshire, England. [2]
