Biography

Cecelia was born 25 Oct 1874 ^[1] , the eldest child of her parents Martin Joseph Acton and Margaret Walsh, in San Francisco, CA.^[2]

Margaret died of smallpox on 13 Sept 1881^[3][4], leaving 4 small children.

Cecelia's father quickly remarried, this time to Elizabeth Maloney^[5], with whom he had another daughter.^[6]

Cecelia married James Michael Curtis on 13 Jan 1907 in Alameda County, California, ^[7] and they had one son, James William. ^[8]

Cecelia and James divorced between 1920 and 1930 ^[9][10]

Cecelia died on 1 Sep 1960. ^[11][12] and is buried with her parents at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. ^[13]
