The only reference to Elizabeth Adams is in the book Brothers - George and Joseph Gorton, Pioneer Cattlemen by Clarke and Irwin, 1977. All other references including her baptism, BDM indexes, shipping records and newspaper articles refer to her as Betsy. Therfore I (Joanne Gorton) have changed her profile name to Betsy [Adams-13075].
