Biography

Samuel Adams, son of Peter Adams and Rachel Newcomb, was born on 2 April 1671 at Medfield, Suffolk [now Norfolk] County, Massachusetts. [1]

He was only 5 when the Indians made a surprise attacked 21 Feb 1675/6, during the general uprising known as King Philips War, burning his family's home and others and killing townsfolk.

He married in Medfield on 11 November 1703 Sarah Sabin, [2] daughter of Deacon Benjamin Sabin and Sarah Parker. She died in Medfield on 6 Jan 1704/5. [3]

Samuel was a widower when died in Medfield on 15 Feb 1730/1,[4] at age 59.
