Biography

Frederick, son of Florence Caroline Nicholls and Francis James Adams, a Labourer of Motueka.

Frederick Adams married Merle Stent, daughter of Henry Stent and Annie Fletcher, in 1921.

He worked as a Civil Servant in Nelson and later as an Exchange Clerk.

Three children were born in his marriage to Merle.

Sadly their first born daughter Florrie died just 3 years later. Florrie was named after his deceased sister Florrie Isabel Adams, 1898-1916. ^[1]

Frederick died in 1972 and is buried at Marsden Valley Cemetery, Nelson. BLK 16A PLOT 96.
