DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna:
I found a death record for anAnn Chadwick, daughter of Lot and Temperance Adams on 12 Dec 1895 in Marion. "Massachusetts, Deaths, 1841-1915," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NWQR-CFP
I think this might indeed be her, even with the mother incorrectly named. I found Ann living in Marion with her married daughter Cynthia H (Chadwick) Kelley in the 1880 US Census. I think the mother's name in the death record is possibly a mistake in the recording or the reporting. Temperance was the name of Allen Chadwick's mother. Both Sarah and Temperance died early. So Anna's children would not have either known or remembered them well and maybe mistakenly reported Anna's mother as "Temperance".
