William was born at Ispwich, Massachusetts on May 27, 1650. He was a graduate of Harvard College. He married first Mary Manning and second Alice Bradford. He was minister at Dedham, Massachusetts, where he died on June 17, 1685. He had two children with his first wife and four with his second wife (Elizabeth, Alice, William, and Abiell)
