Biography
William was born in 1655. He is the son of William Adams and Anne Rushout. He was baptized on 12 March 1661 at St. Dionis Backchurch, London. He married Mary Maynard on 13 June 1682. William died leaving a daughter and heir, Jane, who eventually established her right, as heir general, to Sprowston and the other family estates, as against that of her uncle, Charles the 4th Baronet and heir male. The Wills Proved at Prerogative Court of Canterbury lists William Adams, Linen Draper of London, whose will was proven on 2 May 1683. William predeceased his father, so the title of Baronet passed to his younger brother Thomas.
