Lydda Adams was born about 1775, in Henry county, Virginia , a daughter of Jacob Adams. On October 30, 1794, in Patrick county, Virginia, Barbara married Adam Tittle. Surety for this marriage was given between Anthony Tittle and Jacobs Adams, Jr. and Peter Adams (her brothers) [1] Note: Patrick County was created in 1791 (by an act of Virginia Assembly passed on November 26, 1790, to become effective on June 1, 1791) when Henry County was divided in two.
Lydda (Adams) Tittle was remembered in the Will of her father, Jacob Adams, dated October 27, 1807 with the bequest of a Negro. This Will also lists Jacob's other children, Jacob Adams, Peter Adams, Mary (Adams) Cooper; Elizabeth (Adams) Keaton; Rebecca (Adams) Hollandsworth; Sarah (Adams) Keaton; William Adams and Isaac Adams.
