Imri P. Adams was born on 3 August 1841 in Goshen, Sullivan, New Hampshire, United States to Ebenezer H. Adams (1809-1877) and Charlotte Purington (1814-1846).

He married Ella Sophia McLaughlin (1849-1913) on 10 February 1872 in Goshen, Sullivan, New Hampshire, United States. [1] [2]

Imri died on 8 February 1890 in Goshen, Sullivan, New Hampshire, United States at the age of 48 years, 5 months and 25 days of a spinal disease.[3] He was buried in the Four Corners Cemetery, Goshen, Sullivan, New Hampshire.
