Biography

Samuel Taylor Adams was born 31 Aug 1794 in Rockingham, Vermont, the tenth child of Joseph Adams and Jerusha Preston who died giving birth to Samuel. [1]

Samuel T. married Orinda Brown (died 1869 at Moriah , Essex County, New York, USA). Their son, Newell Bowman Adams, born abt 1815; died in 1867 also in Moriah. (Bowman name came from his maternal grandmother). Samuel T. died in 1875, also in Moriah, Essex County, New York, USA. [2]
