Biography

Joanna (Adams) Granger immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Joanna Adams was born in Apr 1634 in Huntingfield, Suffolk, England to parents Robert Adams and Eleanor Wilmot. She married Launcelot Granger on 4 Jan 1653 in Newburyport, Massachusetts. She died 3 Sep 1689 in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut.

I have never seen a middle name for Joanna, and I have been looking at records for her, her father and her husband for 60 years.
Thanks for the reply, Merry Ann. I'll remove the unsourced "middle" name. I suspect it's a carry-over from someone's database that has the mother's name in that field.
