Daniel was born 12 August 1723 in Framingham, Massachusetts, son of John Adams and Elisabeth Goddard Adams, twin brother of Joseph^[1]

Daniel Adams married Elizabeth Balch, 22 September 1748 in Framingham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. ^[2]

In 1763, Daniel sold the Framingham estate inherited from his father and removed west to Rutland. He took his letter dismissing him from the Framingham church to the Rutland church in January 1765.^[3]

Daniel Adams died in Barre in 1809, in his 85th year^[4]. Note: a previous secondary source, not cited, had him dying in 1814

Elizabeth and Daniel Adams had ten children--seven recorded born in Framingham, the last three recorded born in Barre.^[5][6][3]
