John Adams was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.
What proud parents they must have been, 2 sons that were elected to be Governor of the state of Colorado. Their 2nd born son, Alva Adams was elected Colorado's 5th Governor on November 4, 1886, and he was sworn into office on January 11, 1887. Their 5th born son, William Herbert Adams was elected Colorado's 25th Governor of Colorado. 1927-1933
Son of Alva, Alva Blanchard Adams, was a United States Senator from Colorado from 1923 until 1925 and from 1933 to 1941.
