Biography

After his mothers death he lived with his Uncle George and Aunt Delilah Bush. He married Nellie Hunter (1902-1981), they have 2 known children; Betty and Shirley. His daughter Mary Elizabeth "Betty" died of tuberculosis at 18 years of age. in Maryland and is buried in the Benshoff Hill Cemetery,Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, USA.

1910 U.S.Census: Morrell E. Adams, 5, was born about 1905 in Pennsylvania. In 1910 he lived in West Taylor, Cambria, Pennsylvania with his uncle's family. Household members were: George W. Bush 47, Delilah M. Bush 45, Charles W. Lowman 24, Keziah A. Bush 21, and Morrell E. Adams 5.[1]

1920 U.S.Census: Edward M. Adams, 15, was born about 1905 in Pennsylvania. He lived on Brick Road in West Taylor, Cambria, Pennsylvania in 1920. Household members were: G. W. Bush 56, Delila Bush 54, Jonathan Eckles 52, and Edward M. Adams 15.[2]

1930 U.S.Census: Morrell Adams, 26, was born in 1904 in Pennsylvania. In 1930 he lived at 973 Ash Street, Johnstown, Cambria, Pennsylvania. He was employed as a laborer in Air Reduction Plant. He was married at the age of 24. Household members were: Mary Hunter 63, Nellie Adams 28, Morrell Adams 26, David Hunter 25, and Mary E. Adams 2. [3]

1940 U.S.Census: Morrell Adams, 36, was born in 1904 in Pennsylvania. In 1940 he lived at 972 Fronheiser Street, Johnstown, Cambria, Pennsylvania. His occupation was given as "filler". Household members were: Mary Hunter 74, Nellie Adams 37, Morrell Adams 36, Bettie Adams 12, and Shirley Adams 5.[4]

Death: Edward Adams was born on 12 Jun 1904 and died in Jan 1973. His last residence was in Cumberland, Allegany, Maryland.[5]

Burial: Morrell Edward Adams, son of Jacob and Nancy Jane Adams, was born in Cambria County, Pennsylvania on 12 Jun 1904 and died in Johnstown, Cambria, Pennsylvania on 14 Jan 1973. He was buried in Benshoff Hill Cemetery, Middle Taylor Township, Cambria, Pennsylvania.[6]
