Florence A. VanDemark STONE RIDGE- died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home.
She is survived by five daughters, Beatrice (Terry), June (Ed), Rita, Gay and Peggy. Also survived by six grandchildren, Rebecca, Steven, Nicole, TJ, Eddie III, Fallon (Justin) and a great-grandson Bryce.
Her funeral service was held privately and interment took place at Benton Bar Cemetery in Kyserike. Rev. Arlene Dawber officiated. Arrangements were by the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Her family would appreciate memorial donations to Hudson Valley Hospice, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 12601.

CONNELLY-Joyce Mary (Adams) Banks, 70, of Girard St., Connelly passed away suddenly Saturday, April 18th, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.
Joyce was born in Ellenville, N.Y. on Sept. 17th, 1944, a daughter of late Frederick and Anna (Lent) Adams.
A lifelong resident of Connelly, Joyce was employed in food service at Ulster BOCES, Port Ewen for over 18 years, where she retired as food service manager. Joyce was a caregiver to everybody, and enjoyed "scratch offs", casino games, and her grandchildren who she absolutely adored. They were her life.
She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Everett A. "Ed" Banks, Sr., her children, Doreen VanDeWater, and her husband Richard, of Highland, Everett A. "Ed" Banks, Jr., and his wife Donna, of Kingston, Dorothy "Dot" Banks-Osterhoudt of Connelly, sisters, Florence VanDemark of Stone Ridge, and Ruth Wells of Texas, six grandchildren, Robert Robinson, Everett Banks III, and his wife Genna Banks, Jessica Banks, Kaleigh VanDeWater, Brian Osterhoudt, and one great-granddaughter, Emma Banks. Many nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
She is predeceased by two brothers, Frederick and Gene Adams, and two sisters, Celia Adams and Rose Osterhoudt.
The family has entrusted the staff of the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, with the care and funeral arrangements for Joyce.
The service will be held 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, officiated by Certified Funeral Celebrant Harry VanVliet.
