Margaret Adams Lemely of Bibb County, Alabama, married 1832 Ephraim Lemley. She has been previously linked as a daughter of John Adams and Susanna Wood Adams of Lunenburg, VA, migrated eventually to Halifax, Virginia, dying there. She could NOT be their daughter for Margaret was born 1814 in TN. Susannah Wood Adams signed a deed 1795 Halifax, VA, with her husband John Adams, selling their home plantation. They were too old to be Margaret's parents. ON THE 1830 CENSUS, BIBB, ALABAMA, on the same census page as Ephraim Lemley was a Daniel Adams who had a daughter age 15-20. THIS IS LIKELY THE FATHER OF MARGARET ADAMS, who married 1832 Ephraim Lemley due to his wife dying after the 1830 census.
