Their children were Louisa Palmer, John Q. Palmer, George Wiley Palmer, Frances Isabel Palmer Moore, and Eliza Grace Palmer O'Conner[1].
In 1870, she and Joseph lived in Georgia with their children Louisa, Jarrett I., an unnamed daughter and three black children, Clarissa, Lavina and Ruth Smith[5].
She died 13 December 1874 and was buried in Adams Cemetery #3, Mount Vernon, Montgomery County, Georgia[1][6].
