Biography
Mamie Adams was the daughter of W. W. "Bud" Adams and his first wife whose name is still under research. When her youngest sister Lee was new born, her mother dropped dead while nursing the baby. It is presumed she died of a blood clot. Her father remarried Mollie Hill who raised the four girls, even after Bud's death.[1]
She married John Richard Shetter on Nov. 18, 1896 in Tarrant Co., Texas.
Together they became the parents of Luther Richard Shetter and Wallace Cas Shetter.
She passed away Feb. 20, 1906 and is buried at Pleasant Point Cemetery in Johnson Co., Texas.
