He died between January 7 and April 5 1920.
George "Wilson" Adams married Mary "Mae" Earnest circa 1887.
1. George and Mae are mentioned on the Death Certificate of their daughter Florence (Adams) Roby, who died at 12:01 A. M., 8mSept 1944 in Monongalia County, WV near Morgantown. Florence was 54. The birth-place of both parents is given as Pennsylvania. Florence herself was born circa 1890 in Bedford County, PA.[1]
2. In 1928 George F. Adams, son of Wilson and Mae Adams, applied for a marriage license (his second marriage, the first ending in divorce.) George was living in Johnstown, Pa. at the time. He gives his parents as "dead," and says that Wilson was born in East Freedom, Blair County, PA. He gives Mae as hailing from Bedford, PA.[2]
3. According to the 1900 Census, Wilson and Mae could be found in the Black Fork District of Tucker County, WV with children Bertram (10), Charles (8), and Freddie (5). Wilson was a "R. R. (presumed Railroad) Section Boss. All family members were said to have been born in Pennsylvania.[3]
4. Son Charles Adams who married Rachel Smedley passed away 20 May 1945 in Marion, WV.
