Edward Green Adams was born in 1886 in Dubbo, New South Wales, the son of Edward Adams and Emma Adams.[1]
He married Hilda Grace Stubbs on 21 January 1908 at Gilgandra, New South Wales.
Wedding: Adams—StubbsAt the residence of the bride's parents, "Glenbrook," Gilgandra, on Tuesday, January 21st, the marriage was celebrated of Mr. E. G. Adams and Miss Hilda G. Stubbs, the officiating clergyman being the Rev. W. Atkinson. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a dress of ivory silk, the bodice made kimono style, richly trimmed with French valenciennes and satin ribbons. An embroidered veil was worn over a tiara of orange blossoms. Miss E. A. Adams and Miss M. Stubbs attended as bridesmaids, while Mr. J. H. McFetridge admirably discharged the duties of best man. After the ceremony the guests were entertained to breakfast by the parents of the bride, and the usual toasts were honored, that of the bride and bridegroom being given by Rev. W. Atkinson. Later in the day the happy couple left for Sydney and Manly. The presents were numerous and costly. Miss F. Jarvis presided at the piano, and effectively rendered Mendelsohn's Wedding March.[2]
