Son of Nathan and Keziah (Thompson) Adams.

Born in W Medway, Massachusetts on 1754 to Nathan Adams and Keziah Thompson. Issachar married Millicent Alden and had 11 children. He passed away on 18 Jun 1829 in Hubbardstown, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Married Millecent (many spelling variations in the vital records) Alden (int. July 17, 1776, Medway, MA).

Joseph Read's 6th Regt.; muster roll dated August 1, 1775; enlisted May 8, 1775; service, 3 mos 1 day; also company return dated Camp at Roxbury, Sept 26, 1775; also, order for bounty coat or its equivalent in money, dated Roxbury, Dec 27, 1775. Recorded in "Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution", 17 volumes Vol. I, page 48. Pension file W 20566.[1]
