Place: Medfield, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States[4]
While a Joseph Daniels married a Lydia Adams in Medfield on January 27, 1696, it was not this woman. That was [[Adams-39478 | Lydia Adams, born in 1680 to Jonathan and Elizabeth. See that profile and Joseph Daniels for full explanation.[5]
No Children
In his sketch of Lydia's husband James Allen, Tilden notes "He had no children."[6] NOr did his wife and widow Lydia. Certainly, none were recorded in Medfield. Note: some genealogies show a son Zachariah and a daughter Amy. No primary source support yet found for either; no support of any kind found on their profiles, which therefore were disconnected from this profile August 2019 by Halsey Bullen
Lydia Adams Allen may have married again after her husband's death in 1691, and surely died, but no record of either event has yet been identified and proved to be of her, rather than another with the same name.

Lydia Adams, dau of Edward. b. 1653, has been confused with Lydia Adams, dau of Jonathan, b. 1680. I am making the change. References to both Lydia Adamses are clear in the Henry Adams of Braintree genealogy.
It is pretty obvious that Lydia did not marry a man 25 years younger and have another family with more babies until she was almost 70, so I am disconnecting those children from her.
Adams-34455 and Adams-4710 appear to represent the same person because: Same person is intended, bd. bp. first husband, name of second husband match. One may have the wrong Joseph Daniel as husband.
