Biography

Thomas, son of Francis and Mary (Buck) Adams, was born on May 5, 1709 in Plymouth and died on December 12, 1768 in Kingston.

He married Bathsheba Bradford probably in 1732 in Kingston (published in Kingston on December 23, 1731). Bathsheba, daughter of Israel and Sarah (Bartlett) Bradford, was born in Plymouth on November 8, 1703 and died in Kingston on December 23, 1773.

They were the parents of:

  • Sarah Adams
  • Joshua Adams
  • Bartlett Adams
  • Nathaniel Adams
  • Mary Adams
  • Deborah Adams

They are both buried in the Old Burying Ground in Kingston along with three of their children, Mary, Deborah and Bartlett.

Probate

Thomas Adams of Kingston, yeoman died intestate and on 1 May 1769, Joshua Adams of Kingston, mariner, and Perez Loring of Duxbury, yeoman were granted the administration of his estate.[1]

His inventory was taken on 23 May 1769 in Kingston.[2]

In 1784, an account of his estate by Perez Loring was recorded which included debts paid, and administration fees.[3]
