ancestry.com has Benjamin Adams date and place of death as 1829 Perry Co, KY and his birth 1730 VA and his daughter as Rebecca Adams. Seem to be the same person but with a contradiction on the date and place of death. Maybe a census record of 1820 in Perry County, KY could be compared with 1790 - 1820 census records of Rutherford, NC to find out if the Oct 1783 death date and place of death is accurate. I have Yielding ancestors that lived in Rutherford, NC in the 1700's and their descendants married Rayburn/Raburn's in Alabama in the 1900's. Rebecca Adams married a Rayburn. So I am interested in finding some documentation of the death of Benjamin Adams because it helps to see the migration patterns.
Adams-7109 and Adams-7112 do not represent the same person because: Different dates and place of death. Adams is a common last name.

Places of birth and death should be considered when adding names to this list for the Adams family, as well as dates. People did not travel in the same way as today. If someone was born and died in Virginia it is unlikely that the family would travel to NC for the birth. There are several contradictions which suggest there were 3 branches of the Adams family, one in Sussex, Virginia Colony, one in Surry, Virginia Colony and one in Rowan County, Colonial North Carolina. I believe William Adams may have left the Virginia Colony and settled in North Carolina, but I can find no evidence that Benjamin Adams and Agnes Ezell ever lived in NC, so place suggests that there are several names in the WikiTree that do not belong with Benjamin Adams family tree. from anonymous, dated 8/04/14.

Adams-7113 and Adams-7112 are not ready to be merged because: What is proper first name, Benjamin or Daniel? And what is proper place of birth/death?
