James was born in 1812. He is the son of John Adams and Rhoda Carr. He passed away in 1866. [1]

In 1850, James M Adams lived in Casey county, Kentucky, where he worked as a carpenter. His household was located adjacent to that of Jackson Adams. All family members were born in Kentucky. The household included:
