Lucy Adams, the daughter of Robert Adams and Mourning Lewis was born 14 June 1714 in Goochland, Goochland, Virginia. She died Jan 1780 (aged 57–58) in Albemarle County, Virginia, United States. [1]
Lucy married John Richard Graves before 1743 when she and John sold 350 acres to John Sanders in a deed dated 18 Oct 1743 350 for 30 pounds as follows:
'This Indenture made this 18th day of October Anno Domini One Thousand seven hundred and forty three... that the said John Graves Jun & Lucy his wife... for the valuable consideration of thirty pound... paid by the said John Sanders... hath Bargained sold.. unto the said John Sanders... One Certain Tract... Containing Three hundred and fifty acres the same more or less Lying on the North side James River... [2]
