Elizabeth (Adamson) Winn was born in County Durham, England.

Elizabeth Jane Adamson was born on the 6th of January 1871 in Pelton Fell and was baptised on the 1st of February 1871 at Chester-le-Street, County Durham, England. She was the daughter of William Adamson and Margaret Welch.

Elizabeth Jane married George Winn at Holy Trinity, Pelton, County Durham, England on the 4th of April 1901. George was one of 11 children of Thomas Winn and Hannah Parker of Perkinsville, County Durham, England.

Elizabeth Jane Winn died on the 26th of February 1915 in Chester-le-Street, County Durham and was buried in the Ropery Lane Cemetery, Chester-le-Street, County Durham along with other members of the Winn family.
