Jacob married Ruth Covey on 1 Jun 1815 in Jefferson Co TN. He later married Mariah Gerwell in Platte Co MO.
In 1850, Jacob was living in Green Twp of Platte Co MO. He was age 50, b. TN. Living with him was Maria age 32, b. Ohio, and children Hester 4 and Joseph 2, both born in MO.
Next door was Saml. Adamson, age 32 & b. TN, quite possibly a son of Jacob's from his first marriage.
Living with Samuel was Mary age 30, Ruth 12, Rosann 10, Sarah 4, and Jeremiah 1; children all born in MO.
