Benjamin Adamson, with whom most of our old settlers were acquainted, died at his residence in Saratoga last Friday night, and was buried at Iuka on Sunday. "Uncle Ben," as he was familiarly known, was a member of the 38th Iowa Regiment in the late war, and was buried by Copeland-Goodwin Post, G.A.R. of this place, of which he was a member.
