It's not clear that Sally was actually married to all of the men shown as her spouses. She apparently did use their names.
Sally was probably an alcoholic, and family legend indicates that she, and/or some of her husbands were involved in illegal activities, such as check forgery.
Sally visited Vern, Ruby and JC in Denver on several occasions in the 1950s or early 60s. She was a jovial and enjoyable person. On at least some of her visits she was accompanied by Pat Baker. In Diadem Folkerts' funeral notice, she is named as Stella Baker, shown living in Streator, Ill.
