I'm Samuel Lee Rader, born on my grandfathers birthday, Oct. 7. His was 1881, mine in 1935. Since we had a day in common, it gave Mom and Dad a reason to drive to Mo. to visit. My job was to sit on his large lap and giggle. I remember thinking he had the largest fingers I'd ever seen. Also being chased by a terrible storm once as we traveled in the old 39 Olds we had. The storm missed grandpa's but went directly over my uncle James Rader's farm not far away. It then did terrible damage to a turkey farm nearby. We drove around many farms with damage. We made several of these trips. Always on Oct.7th. I'll always remember that loving lap. Sam
