Biography

James Mareion Aday was born on 26 January 1877 in Searcy County, Arkansas to George Washington Aday and Mary Catherine Jordan. [1]

In 1880, at the age of, 3 he was living with his parents, George Washington and Mary Catherine (Jordan) Aday, and a 3-month-old brother, William R Aday. The family was living in Jefferson, Newton, Arkansas where his father was working as a farmer. [2]

In 1900, he was living with his parents, his 56-year-old uncle Riley, Aday, Sr, and five siblings. They were living in Barhsyville town, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. [3]

On 25 January 1906, in Newton County, Arkansas, he married Donna Victoria Robinson, He was 29 and she was 18. [4]

In 1920, at the age of 43, was living with his wife Donnie and two daughters: Mary L 9Age 13) and Myrtle M (Age 10), in Hunt County, Texas, [5]

In 1930 he was living in Dallas County, Texas. with his wife, Dona, and daughters, Mary Lee and Myrtle Starks. Myrtle had married ane two children: Marvin (Son age 2) Starks, and, Jean G (Daughter, age 1) Starks. [6]

In 1940, he lived in the city of Dallas Texas with his family as he had in 1930 ad 1935. Myrtle had divorced after 1930 and before 1940. [7]

James passed away on 18 November 1956 in Dallas, Texas. He was a 79-year-old retired farmer, He was a widow at the time of his death. The cause of death was coronary occlusion. [1] He is buried in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas. [8]
