Research Notes
The 1910 census shows William and Sary Jane have an adopted daughter, Mattie Lou Aday, age three. She is the daughter of John Robert Aday and Frances Myrtle (Adams) Aday . William and John Robert are first cousins, once removed. Frances died five days after Mattie Lou was born. With eight children between three and fourteen, I can understand why they would adopt her. There is a warning when you save changes to Sarah Jane's profile that her birth date needs to be nine months after the birth of a sibling. I need help on how to turn this off.
Although WikiTree only has four siblings for Mattie Lou. FamilySearch has eight siblings for her. This needs to be researched.
