Biography

John was born in South Carolina on 6 Aug 1866. He was of Canadian descent. His parents were T B and Rebecca Addison. In 1880, the family was living in Cane Creek, Lancaster County, South Carolina.[1] There were seven children in the home: Wm T, Jas N, John F, Mary L, Sarah R, Ben C, and Annie C. They were a farming family.

John married Henrietta Amanda Fletcher on 28 Nov 1893 in South Carolina. By 1900, they were living in Cane Creek Township (north, west part), Lancaster, South Carolina. They had one child, Edgar, and a servant in the home.[2] John was working as a manager on a farm.

By 1920, the couple and their son, Edgar, had moved to Waxhaw, Lancaster, South Carolina. he was still working as a manager on a farm, and Edgar was a farm laborer.[3]

John passed away on 10 May 1922 in South Carolina.[4][5]
