Biography

Clarence was born in Louisiana in 1885. His parents were Andrew Edward Addison and Charity Elizabeth Duckworth. In 1900, the family was living in Livingston Parish, Louisiana.[1] Children in the home were Narvild, Clarence, Rosetta, john, Ira, and Ada. Clarence's father was a farmer.

Clarence married Bessie May Barrett on 28 Feb 1912 in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[2] By 1920, the couple was still living in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[3] They had four children at home: Joseph, Connore, Verone, and Bulah. Clarence was a laborer for the Teamsters.

They were still in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana in 1930.[4] The family now included eight children: Joseph, Converse, Verna, Bessie, Leroy, Arnold, Mabel, Lloyd and Nina. Clarence was now working as a paper hanger in the building trade.

Clarence registered for the World War II draft in 1942 in Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[5]

He passed away on 5 Jul 1959 in St Patricks, Lake Charles Parish, Louisiana. Burial was in the Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[6]
