Biography

William was born in Vernon Parish, Louisiana in 1904.

He married a woman named Oma Lea, maiden name unknown. In 1940, they were living in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. William was 17 years older than his wife. They had no children as of the 1940 census. William had a third grade education and worked as a farm hand.^[1]

He registered for the World War II draft. He was living in Leesville, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, at the time. Mrs. Oma Lee Addison was listed as the person who would always know where he was. He listed his employer as McGregor and Pickett of Little Rock, Arkansas.

William passed away in Feb 1981^[2], but the date of death was not inscribed on the headstone he shares with his wife, Oma. Burial was in the Prewitts Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, Vernon Parish, Louisiana.^[3]
