Biography
Grandpa was born Henry Adkins to mother Lissie or Sissie Adkins. Story goes that he had a twin named Roscoe and Henry was given up for adoption. The twin story may not be true but I do know Henry was taken to a poorhouse orphanage in Elliott or Rowan Cty KY and was adopted by 1910 by John Watson and Thursia Adkins Watson. Henry's father is listed as Unknown on death cert.
