Research Notes

The burial at Blacks Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams, Pennsylvania, often cited on ancestry.com family trees, is not this Samuel Agnew. The headstone records the death of three children, apparently buried with the same headstone. These children do not appear to be part of this Agnew family.
